Zero of Nero

It’s going to rain for the next two days, so the timing is good again. I’m taking a Zero day, or maybe a Nero day. Zero means I won’t leave the hotel at all. Nero means I still need to do some resupply for the next sections.

Yesterday I already picked up a few things, but the next sections are either 4 days to a gas station or 10 days to the next Zero/Nero. In ten days, I’ll have walked through the first state, Washington.

There’s a tiny little supermarket here where the shelves are almost empty. You can forget about fresh fruit here, let alone other fresh food. I’m still debating whether to take a jar of peanut butter up the mountain with me, since it contains the most calories.
