The E1 Trail is a long-distance European hiking route running from Nordkapp in northern Norway to Sicily in southern Italy. Spanning over 7,000 kilometers, it links Arctic tundra, forests, farmland, alpine terrain, and Mediterranean landscapes. Rather than a single marked path, the E1 connects existing national trails, offering hikers a unique journey through Europe’s diverse nature, cultures, and history from north to south.
