Recharging in Abisko

Monday the 3rd, morning. Slept badly last night. That was to be expected—55 km is no small distance, and the cramps you get afterward keep you awake.

What a surprise!! As a birthday gift from my lovely wife, I got two nights in an apartment. Couldn’t be better. Finally a chance to recharge a bit.

Had to wait until three o’clock at the station because the apartment still needed cleaning. At least it was dry in the station, because outside it was raining cats and dogs. Luckily I was allowed to leave my backpack in the apartment’s luggage storage.

Washed all my clothes and stretched out on the couch in my rain pants. Lying there—until my feet say… don’t you dare get up!!
