Final Gear Choices

What do I take with me and what do I send back? That’s something I’ve been dealing with for the past four years, and now I have to make decisions.

The day before departure I was planning to go with the hammock, but at the very last moment I took it out.

The goal was ultralight, and with the hammock I was 2 kg over that.

I’m now going with the ZPacks Duplex tarp tent, which brings my base weight to 4.5 kg.
